Popular Unity (Spanish: Unidad Popular), also known as Popular Unity in Common (Spanish: Unidad Popular en Común) and briefly as Now in Common-Popular Unity (Spanish: Ahora en Común-Unidad Popular), is a political and electoral alliance in Spain. The alliance was organized in 2015 to contest the 2015 general election and integrates the United Left. It was founded as Now in Common (Spanish: Ahora en Común). Alberto Garzón was its lead candidate.[3][4] In the 2015 election, it won two seats in the 350 seat Congress of Deputies.[5]
