Pretoria North (Afrikaans: Pretoria-Noord) is a suburb of the city of Pretoria in Gauteng, South Africa, with a population of 12,972 people according to the 2011 census.[1] As the name suggests, it is situated to the north of the city centre. It lies 8 kilometres (5 mi) from Church Square, just north of the Magaliesberg and adjacent to Paul Kruger Street (the M1) and the railway line from Pretoria to Polokwane.
The Onderstepoort campus of the University of Pretoria Faculty of Veterinary Science, and the Wonderboom Airport are nearby.
