Haley Georgia (born August 11, 1994) is an American country/hip-hop artist and former American Idol contestant, caught the attention of EMI Records Nashville in April 2015.[1] Her first single, "Ridiculous," was released that summer and played on SiriusXM The Highway.[2] In December 2015, she was selected to be in Spotify's Spotlight on Country. On December 18, 2015, Georgia released Pretty Girls Mixtape on EMI Nashville.[3] Currently, Georgia is an opening act for Colt Ford on his current tour. Haley is also working in the studio for her full-length debut album.
Early and personal life
Georgia was born on August 11,[4][5] 1994.[5][6] She considers herself to be a Houston, Texas-native.[7]
Music career
Georgia's professional music career started, when she was on American Idol, during the 12th season, in 2013.[7] This appearance and exposure caught the attention of EMI Records Nashville, where they signed her to a record deal in April 2015.[8] Her debut single, "Ridiculous", was released during the summer of that year.[9][10][11]
In December 2015, she was selected to be in Spotify's 'Spotlight on Country.' On December 18, 2015, EMI Records Nashville released Pretty Girls Mixtape.
