Project Mc2 (pronounced Project McSquare) is an American web television series produced by DreamWorks Animation's AwesomenessTV and MGA Entertainment for Netflix. The first season, consisting of three episodes, was released on August 2, 2015.[1]
Plot
The series revolves around the fields of STEAM and the fictional organization called NOV8 (pronounced "innovate"), a highly secretive group of female operatives. It has the slogan "Smart is the new cool".

Production
On April 6, 2016, Netflix announced that the series has been renewed for a second and third season. The second season will be released on August 12, 2016, and the third season is planned be released later in the fall.[2]
Merchandise
A line of the dolls of the same name was introduced in 2015. The first dolls were introduced in the fall of 2015, and include both basic, unarticulated dolls as well as deluxe articulated dolls that come with their own science experiments, such as a lava lamp, volcano, glowstick and skateboard building set.
