Prolochus is a genus of tropical spiders.Prolochus was a synonym of Dolichognatha until the discovery of Prolochus junlitjri. Species under the genus Prolochus has four main traits that distinguishes them from those under Dolichognatha; the toal absence of posterior median eyes, has dorsal abdomen without dorsal humps, has a distinct shape of abdomen and its palpal organ.[1]
