Prolochus junlitjri is a species of orb-weaver spider found in the Philippines. The species was discovered in Molawin Creek in Mt. Makiling. The species was described, illustrated and named by Aimee Lynn Barrion-Dupo and Alberto T. Barrion which published their discovery on 2014. The species is the second one to be described under the genus Prolochus after the 1895 discovery of Prolochus longiceps in Myanmar. The discovery of Prolochus junlitjri made the genus Prolochus a distinct genus, which was formerly a synonym of the genus Dolichognatha. [1]
