Proszów [ˈprɔʂuf] (German: Drahthammer) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Brody, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Brody, 26 km (16 mi) north-west of Żary, and 52 km (32 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The settlement has a population of 25.
