Highway D3 (Czech: Dálnice D3) is a highway in the Czech Republic. It will go from Prague through Tábor and České Budějovice to Kaplice and there continue as Expressway R3.
As of July 2013 only 43km of highway are in operation, from Mezno to Veselí nad Lužnicí. The most controversial and disputed section is the planned segment in the Central Bohemian Region.
Expressway R3
A 25 km long section from Kaplice to the border with Austria on the other side of the future Mühlviertler Schnellstraße (S10) is under consideration to be built as Expressway R3.
