Most Valuable Player (2015 All-Filipino)

Rachel Anne Daquis (born December 13, 1987) is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management.[2] She was a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years where she has been given the title "Queen Tamaraw".[3] She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is currently a member of the Philippine Army Lady Troopers.

Volleyball

Daquis joined volleyball club when she was in high school in Rizal, and she did not always started as the first six. She joined FEU Lady Tamaraws when she was in college in FEU which she won only in 2008 UAAP Volleyball championships. Daquis also played as guest player for Ateneo Lady Eagles. In May 1, 2015 in Boracay, Daquis led along with Cha Cruz, Michele Gumabao, and Gretchen Ho for Nestea Beach Volleyball won against the team of Tricia Santos, Carmela Tunay and Aleona Denise Santiago.[4] In June 2015, she was one of the athletes who participated in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore alongside Alyssa Valdez, Aleona Denise Santiago and many more. During that time she was featured on newspapers in Singapore.

Other works

Aside from volleyball, she also has worked as a model and she also finish culinary art studies.

On October 16, 2015 Rachel Ann Daquis was selected by the San Miguel Beermen of the PBA as the team muse along with her teammate Alexa Micek for the 2016 PBA Opening Ceremony.
