Rachel Christenson

Rachel Christenson (born September 24, 1983) is an American entrepreneur and author. She is the CEO and co-founder of Selling Energy and SF Green Space, both based in San Francisco, California.
Christenson received her bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Architectural Studies and her Master's from Portland State University in International Management.
She is the co-author of the Wall Street Journal best-selling book Selling Energy: Inspiring Ideas That Get More Projects Approved! with Mark Jewell, a series of essays urging sales professionals to “stop promoting and start selling."[1] The book went on to win accolades from the Axiom Business Book Awards, the International Book Awards and the Reader Views Annual Literary Award.[2][3][4]
In 2015 her efforts were rewarded by the prestigious Stevie Awards for "Sales Training or Education Leader of the Year” and "Female Entrepreneur Of The Year.[5][6] She received The Golden Bridge Award for "Best Entrepreneur Or Founder" the same year.[7] Likewise she received further recognition when Selling Energy was listed among Selling Power's Top 20 Sales Training Companies as well as placing #1400 on the 2015 Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.[8][9] It also placed #16 among Inc.'s fastest-growing Education companies.[10]
Christenson is an active member of the Women Presidents' Organization (WPO), the National Association of Women Business Owners and serves as vice president of Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) California Chapter.[11][12][13] She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young children.[14]
