Radoslav Galinov Terziev (Bulgarian: Радослав Галинов Терзиев; born 6 August 1994 in Plovdiv) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a defender for Botev Plovdiv.[1]

Career

Early career

Born in Plovdiv, Terziev began his career at the Spartak Plovdiv academy but moved to Botev Plovdiv along with Lazar Marin, Lachezar Angelov and Rosen Andonov in January 2012.[2] After joining Botev, he spent two seasons on loan in Rakovski.

Botev Plovdiv

2014-15

For season 2014-15 the new manager of the team Lyuboslav Penev called him back to team. On 3 July 2014 he made his professional debut for Botev Plovdiv against Libertas in a match for Europe League which was won by the Bulgarian team with 4-0.[3]

Terziev made a debut in A Grupa in a game against Lokomotiv Sofia which was won by Botev Plovdiv with 1:0.[4] He has included in the starting lineup for the first time in A Grupa agaist Slavia Sofia. Botev also won this game with 2:0.[5] His steady performance continued in the next round of A Grupa, Terziev was again part of the starting lineup and Botev Plovdiv achieved first away victory for the season against Haskovo.[6]

On 7 December 2014 Terziev was again included in the starting lineup as a central defender during the 2-0 win over PFC Haskovo.[7] A week later he played again 90 minutes and made a solid performance during the 1-0 loss form Ludogorets Razgrad.[8]

On 2 March Terziev was in the starting lineup for 3-0 home win over Marek Dupnitsa.[9] On 22 March, he came on as a substitute during the 0-0 draw with Ludogorets Razgrad.[10] On 18 April Terziev played well during the 1-1 draw with Beroe Stara Zagora.[11]

Terziev was in starting lineup for the away lost from Litex Lovech on 11 May and five days later, on 16 May, he came on as a substitute, after Plamen Nikolov's red card, during the 3-2 win over CSKA Sofia.[12][13] Terziev played 90 minutes in the next round of A Grupa, on 23 May, during the 1-2 away defeat from Beroe Stara Zagora.[14] A week later he was in the starting lineup for the last game of the season, 0-2 defeat from Lokomotiv Sofia.[15]

2015-16

On 9 August, Terziev came on as a substitute during the 0-1 away win over Pirin Blagoevgrad.[16] A week later he replaced Daniel Zlatkov in the starting lineup and played 90 minutes during 0-1 defeat from Slavia Sofia.[17] On 22 August Terziev came on as a substitute during the last minutes of the goalless draw with Beroe Stara Zagora.[18] On 30 October Radoslav Terziev was in the starting lineup for the 2-0 away defeat from Slavia Sofia.[19]

Radoslav Terziev was in the starting lineup and performed well during the goalless draw with Levski Sofia on 5th December 2015.[20]

International career

Under 21

As one of the most promising defenders Terziev has received call-ups for the Bulgarian U19 and U21 national football teams. On 31 March 2015 he participated in the 1-3 away defeat of Bulgaria U21 from Wales U21.[21] On 9 June 2015 Radoslav Terziev played 90 minutes during the 1-0 win in a friendly game with Cyprus U21.[22]

In September 2015 Terziev was again included in the squad during the 0-2 away victory over Romania U21 and the 3-0 home win over Luxembourg U21. He played 90 minutes in both games.[23]

On 9 October 2015 Terziev played 90 minutes during the 2-0 win over Armenia U21.[24] Five days later, on 14 October, Terziev was again in the starting lineup but this time he and his teammates were defeated with 0-1 by Denmark U21.[25]

On 25 March 2016 Terziev was in the starting lineup for the goalless draw with Wales U21.[26][27]

Senior

In late January 2015, Terziev received his first call-up to the full national side by new manager Ivaylo Petev for a friendly match against Romania but he remained an unused substitute in this game.[28]
