Rajahar is regarded as village development committee which is situated in Nawalparasi District, Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. It lies in and is intersected by Mahendra Highway. Rajahar Bazar is one of the oldest towns of the area. This area is highly served by weekly street market every Sunday commonly known as Haat Bazar. Rajahar is also the hometown of Devchuli Higher Secondary School and Devchuli College, the oldest education center in the town. This place is popular for domestic and international people as a tourist area. one can find peace and eternity here. The local people are very kind and helpful; however, it has not developed to the ratio it has to be compared with other neighbour places like Kawasoti. Major city Narayangarh is only 20 kilometers from the Rajahar town.

Now it has become one of the best residential places in Nawalparasi; it is located only 20 km west from Chitwan Narayanghat. Rajahar is also the hometown of Devchuli Higher Secondary School and Devchuli College, the oldest education center from Gaidakot. This place is popular for domestic and international people as a tourist area. One can find peace and eternity here. The local people are very kind and helpful, however, it has not developed to the ratio it has to be compared with other neighbour places like Kawasoti. It is one of the most popular place in Nawalparasi. Rajahar has the first higher secondary school in Nawalparasi district named Devchuli Higher Secondary School.
