Raman Raghav 2.0 is an upcoming Indian thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap. It is based on the notorious serial killer Raman Raghav who operated in Mumbai during the mid-1960s. The title character is played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, while Vicky Kaushal plays the role of a cop in the film.[1] Anurag Kashyap announced via Twitter that the film is set to release on June 24th, 2016.[2] On April 19, 2016, it was announced that the film would be premiere at the 2016 Cannes Directors' Fortnight.[3]

Production
The filming began in September 2015,[1] and the shooting was completed on 22 November 2015.[4] Nawazuddin Siddiqui was hospitalised after being diagnosed with dengue. He then resumed shooting for the film as soon as he was discharged.[4]
Marketing
On 24 April, 2016, Anurag Kashyap released two teaser poster's of the film through his official Twitter account.[5] The first look poster was revealed on April 25, 2016.[6] Its second poster was released on May 1 which featured the half faces of both Kaushal and Siddiqui.[7] A 46-second teaser of Raman Raghav 2.0 was released on 6 May, 2016.[8]
