Rauno Sappinen (born 23 January 1996) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Estonian Meistriliiga club Flora and the Estonia national football team.

Club career

Flora

Sappinen started playing football in his hometown Tallinn with the youth academy of Flora. He made his Meistriliiga debut on 2 March 2013, in a 4–1 victory against Tallinna Kalev.[1] Sappinen won his first Meistriliiga title in 2015 and was Flora's top goalscorer in the league with 16 goals.[2][3]

International career

Sappinen started his international youth career in 2011 and has captained the Estonia U19 and the Estonia U21 teams. He earned his first senior cap for Estonia in a 3–0 victory against Georgia on 11 November 2015.[4]
