Plagiarism Controversy
Ravi Kinagi is a controversial film director in Bengali film industry due to his frame-to-frame copying of several Hindi, Kannada and Tamil movies. In August 2009, his film Poran Jaye Jolia Re was banned by Kolkata High Court for copying Hindi film Namaste London. He also copied Salman Khan starrer film Maine Pyar Kiya to make his Bengali film I Love You.
