RealVU (stylized as Real View) is a Bangladeshi direct broadcast satellite service provider and broadcaster based in Bangladesh. As of March 2016, it is a subsidiary of Beximco Group while Russian telecommunication company General Satellite holds a minority stake at the company. Real VU is the first direct-to-home service to be introduced in Bangladesh.[1][2] The service will provide over hundred high definition channels to the subscribers.[3] The service will be intercepted via ABS2 satellite at 74.9 degree east. The company plans to attract six million subscribers during its first year of operation.[4] The service will be officially launched on 14 April 2016, on the occasion of Bangla New Year.
