Reina Hispanoamericana 2009, The 19th Reina Hispanoamericana Beauty Pageant was held in Parque Urbano, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on October 29, 2009.[3] 21 contestants competed in the event. Adriana Vasini, Miss Venezuela, won the title.[4]

- Flavia Foianini (Bolivia) competed in Miss World 2009, but did not place. Adriana Vasini (Venezuela) competed in Miss World 2010 finishing up as 2nd runner up. María Amalia Matamoros (Costa Rica) and Nataly Chilet (Chile) competed in Miss World 2008, were unplaced.
- Nataly Chilet (Chile) also competed in Miss Earth 2005 (Top 8 finalist).
- Sandra Vinces (Ecuador), Mareike Baumgarten (Paraguay) and Cinthia D'Ottone (Uruguay) competed in Miss Universe 2009, were unplaced. Karol Castillo (Peru) competed in Miss Universe 2008, but did not place.
- Lina Mosquera (Colombia) and Joyce Jacobi (Panama) competed in Miss International 2009. Joyce Jacobi (Panama) ended up as a Top 15 semifinalist and Lina Mosquera (Colombia), did not place.
- Lina Mosquera (Colombia), Sandra Vinces (Ecuador) and Rocío Castellanos (Dominican Republic) both competed in Miss Continente Americano 2009 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Lina Mosquera (Colombia) won the title, Sandra Vinces (Ecuador) was a Top 3 finalist, and Rocío Castellanos (Dominican Republic) did not place.
- Lívia Nepomuceno (Brazil) will compete in Miss Tourism Queen International 2010.
- Indira Rojas (Nicaragua) competed in Miss International 2010, was unplaced.
- Rocio Castellanos (Dominican Republic) competed in Miss Earth 2012, did not placed.
