Ribble Valley Rail
Ribble Valley Rail (RVR) is the name the group of volunteers that care for the Hellifield, Clitheroe and Blackburn section of the Ribble Valley Line. They were formed in 1986, hoping they would have services running all the way to Hellifield, but so far have services running only to Clitheroe. There are hopes that services will run to Hellifield and maybe further afield in the future.
It is a volunteer organisation and has had a lot of support from Clitheroe's local newspaper Clitheroe Advertiser and Times.
The line is also a community rail service.
