Richard Bishop (born March 23, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a former American football defensive tackle who played for the New England Patriots. He played college football at Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown, Iowa where he was a First-Team NJCAA All-American as a defensive end. Following his career at Marshalltown, Bishop played for the University of Louisville.
