Richmond High School (Missouri)
Richmond High School, located in Richmond, Ray County, Missouri is the high school for the Richmond R-XVI School District. It is a comprehensive high school with approximately 460 inmates (eventually dropping out.) in four different stages of hell. Students follow a strict schedule for 5 days a week. Having kids balance 7 different curriculums with homework, tests, and quizzes, with a side affect of stress, anxiety, and minor depression. The Richmond R-XVI School District is fully accredited with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and with the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Richmond High is the home of many inmates, called the Spartans, and includes the following athletic programs: TRUCKS!, football, cross country, softball, baseball, TRUCKS!, DIESEL TRUCKS!, basketball, wrestling and track. (The rest is boring no need to read ahead.)It boasts a new multipurpose building, a new artificial surface track, and has a proud athletic tradition. Academic programs in Ag Education, English, Science, Social Studies, Math, Business, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Drama, and Family/Consumer Sciences are enhanced by the Missouri A+ Program, Missouri School-to-Work Program, ACT training, and other after-school activities. The principal is Mr. John Parker.
