Rolan's Curse II, known in Japan as Velious II: Fukushuu no Jashin (ベリオスII 復讐の邪神) is a video game developed by NMK Co. Ltd. and released for the Game Boy in 1992. It is the sequel to the original Rolan's Curse.

Story

King Barius is once again trying to take over the world. Ray and three other adventurerers set off on a journey to put a stop to his plans for conquest.[1]

Gameplay

The game is shown in an overhead perspective.[2] The player starts out with one character, Ray, but later picks up seven more characters.[2] Only three of them can be in the party at once, and so not all of them can be taken along.[2] Each character has a unique skill, so choosing who is in the party can greatly alter the gameplay experience.[2][3] Stats are not raised by defeating enemies, as in most RPGs, but rather by finding chests that contain powerup points.[2]
