Roy Jacuzzi

Roy Jacuzzi (born 1943) is an American inventor and businessman

A third generation Italian immigrant to the United States of America, in 1968 he helped market the first self-contained, fully integrated Jacuzzi whirlpool bath.[1] First generation Jacuzzi family member, Candido Jacuzzi was the inventor of the original portable, in-home Jacuzzi Whirlpool pump, see US 3297025 .[2] The water pumps that inspired the whirlpool bath were a family invention, meant to help soothe arthritis symptoms. Jacuzzi and his company hold more than 250 patents for inventions in fields ranging from pump systems to jet technology.[3]
