Ru-Ba-Ru Miss India Elite is a national beauty pageant in India organized by the RU-BA-RU Events that selects India's representatives for Supermodel International, Miss Eco, World Beauty Queen, Miss Globe and Miss Tourism World.

History

RU-BA-RU has been organizing the pageant since 2008, from 2008 to 2011 the pageant was called Miss Haryana, in 2013 the pageant was renamed to Ru-Ba-Ru Miss India Elite . In 2013 the first ever Ru-Ba-Ru Miss India pageant was held in New Delhi, Shefali Sood a model from New Delhi was adjudged the first ever winner of the pageant, Sonam Barak of Haryana was declared the 1st Runner Up and Reshu Sisodia of Uttar Pradesh was declared the 2nd Runner Up.[1]

International Memberships

In 2014, Ru-Ba-Ru Miss India Elite acquired the rights to send India's representatives to Supermodel International pageant. Bhavyata Sharma from Rajasthan, the winner of Ru-Ba-Ru Miss India Elite 2014, represented India at Supermodel International 2014 pageant held in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and became a semi-finalist. In 2015, Surbhi Malik from New Delhi, the 2nd Runner Up of Ru-Ba-Ru Miss India 2014 pageant was appointed to represent India at Supermodel International 2015 contest held in Philippines, as the 2015 national pageant was postponed to the month of October the same year. Srubhi, later placed in the Top 10 at the Supermodel International 2015.[2]

In 2015, Ru-Ba-Ru Group acquired the rights to send India's delegates to World Beauty Queen pageant. Shine Arora became the first Indian to represent India at the World Beauty Queen 2015, the inaugural edition of World Beauty Queen pageant held in South Korea and placed in the top 10. She also won the special awards for "Miss Congeniality" and "Top Model" at the pageant.

In the year 2015, Ru-Ba-Ru Group acquired the rights to send India's representatives to Miss Eco, Miss Tourism World and Miss Globe pageants. The same year in the month of October, the 2015 edition of the pageant was held and Top 6 winner were announced to represent India at Supermodel International, Miss Eco, World Beauty Queen, Miss Tourism World and Miss Globe.[3][4][5]
