Rubaru Mister India is a national beauty pageant in India for men, organised by the Rubaru Group that selects India's representatives for Mister Model International, Mister Global, Mister Worldwide, Mr Universal Ambassador and Mister United Continents pageants.

History and International Memberships

Rubaru Group has been organising the Mr India contest since the year 2008, from 2008 to 2011 the contest was called Ru-Ba-Ru Mr North India. In the year 2012, the organisation renamed the pageant to Ru-Ba-Ru Mr India Global, the first edition of Ru-Ba-Ru Mr India Global was held in Tivoli Westwood in New Delhi in the year 2012. Mumbai based model, Mudit Malik was declared the winner of the first edition of Ru-Ba-Ru Mr India Global pageant.

India has been participating in Mister Model International pageant since 2014, Pratik Virk of Punjab, the winner of Rubaru Mister India 2013-14, represented India at Mister Model International 2014 held in Santo Domingo, the capital and the largest city in Dominican Republic, and was declared 4th Runner Up.^[1]^[2]^[3]

In 2015, Sandeep Sehrawat was handpicked by the organisation to represent India at Mister Global 2015 contest held in Thailand. As the contest for the year 2015 was held in the month of April after the finale of Miter Global 2015.

In the year 2015, Rubaru Group acquired the rights to send India's representatives to Mister Worldwide Competition, Mr Universal Ambassador, Mister United Continents and Mister Pancontinental, the 2015 Ru-Ba-Ru Mr India Global pageant was held in New Delhi on April 03, 2015. The top five winners were chosen to represent India at Mister Model International, Mister Global, Mister Worldwide Competition, Mr Universal Ambassador, Mister United Continents and Mister Pancontinental.^[4]Dheeraj Sharma from New Delhi represented India at the inaugural edition of Mister United Continents held in Pasig City of Philippines in the month of May and was declared 5th Runner Up.^[5]
