Sagol
Sagol is a traditional Korean health food. The word Sagol means bones of cattle' legs. "Sa(四)" refers to four and "Gol(骨)" does to bone in Chinese character.[1] Sagol contains abundance collagen protein and minerals such as calcium and is good for refreshing mind and body. As a traditional health food, it is used for Gomguk as well as for making pot liquor. “Guk” means soup. During winter Korean people would think to eat such a dish with warm soup.
Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs participated in ‘2015 New York Wine And Food festival(NYCWFF)' and introduced the Sagol-guk to promote Korean dishes.[2][3]
