Political Future

Krone's current term expires at the end of 2016, but he has said that he is undecided about whether he will seek re-election.[7] He confirmed in a March 2016 interview that he was fired for sending improper text messages to a woman who was a defendant in a case before his office. Krone sent the woman taunting and threatening text messages, admonishing her for supporting a previous political opponent and asking whether she should be tested for sexually transmitted diseases.[8]
