Sameer Yasir (born 1984) is an Indian Journalist, writer, and political commentator based in Srinagar, the capital of disputed Indian state of Kashmir. He writes extensively on defense, human rights and security issues.[1] He has reported from Kashmir, among other publications, for The Wall Street Journal, New York Times,[2] Network 18's Firstpost.com,[3] The Straits Times, Lexean, and Kashmir Life.[4][5]
