San Martino al Tagliamento (Slovene: Šmartin) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,449 and an area of 17.8 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi).[1]
