Sandnes Church (Norwegian: Sandnes kyrkje, also known as Masfjorden Church) is the main parish church in Masfjorden municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Masfjordnes, right on the shore of the Masfjorden. The church is part of the Sandnes parish in the Nordhordland deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white wooden church was built in 1845 on the same site as the previous church. This church was built by Eiler Hagerup Holtermann who used plans drawn by Hans Linstow. This is probably the third church to be located on this site. The first church was probably a stave church from the middle ages. That church was eventually torn down and replaced with a timber church. That timber church was torn down in 1845 and replaced by the present church. The present church seats about 370 people.[1][2]
