Scolopendra viridicornis is a species of centipede in the family Scolopendridae that can be found on Indo-Burma border where its venom is used for medicine.[1]
Medical use
The species is used to treat blood in stool, hematuria, chronic headache, anorexia, vaginal bleeding, and white vaginal discharge. Currently it is used to treat cancer in Manipur.[1]
