The lesser Asiatic yellow bat (Scotophilus kuhlii) is a species of vesper bat. It is found in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan.

Descriotion

Head and body length is 7 cm. Forearm is 5 cm.

Uniform beige above sometimes with a yellow tinge. Underparts very light brown to whitish. Wing membrane is dark brown. Ears pinkish brown. Fur very dense and short.

Culture

Known as හීන් කහ වවුලා (meaning same as English term) in Sinhala.
