Shanzhou District (simplified Chinese: 陕州区; traditional Chinese: 陝州區; pinyin: Shǎnzhōu Qū), previously known as Shan County or Shanxian(simplified Chinese: 陕县; traditional Chinese: 陝縣; pinyin: Shǎn Xiàn), is a district of western Henan province, China. It is located on the southern (right) bank of the Yellow River, just southwest of Sanmenxia, which administers the district.
