Shacklett, Tennessee

Shacklett is an unincorporated community in Cheatham County, in the U.S. state of Tennessee.[1]

History

A post office called Shacklett was established in 1897, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1904.[2] The community may have been named for one or more members of the Shacklett family known to be living nearby in the mid-19th century.[3]
