Shankar Ramakrishnan is a Malayalam cinema screen writer, director and actor. He started his career by directing the segment - Island express for the Malayalam anthology film, Kerala Cafe.[1] Later he wrote the script for historical-fantasy film Urumi.[2][3] He debuted as an actor through the 2012 film Spirit.
