Shatin (Armenian: Շատին; formerly, Shatik, Hesan Kand, Gasankend, and Hasankand), is a village in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. It is home to the only mountain goat observation point in Armenia. The observation point was constructed with the help of the Norwegian and Armenian governments, the World Wildlife Fund and Safari organizations. Tourists can come to see the mountain goats from these observation points. The village also has several archeological sites from various periods in Armenian history.
