Shubhangi Atre Poorey (born 11 April 1981) is an Indian television actress. She is known for her roles in Kasturi and Do Hanson Ka Jodaa.

Personal life

Shubhangi Atre Poorey is from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She is married to Piyush Poorey and has a daughter named Ashi. She achieved fame mainly due to her acting in TV serials. She also has an MBA degree from IMS, DAVV, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Career

Shubhangi is known for the role of Kasturi on the Indian soap opera Kasturi. Last serial as lead actress was Rajshri Productions' Do Hanson Ka Jodaa on NDTV Imagine. After it she also played a negative character in Rajan Shahi's Havan. She had replaced Shilpa Shinde as Koyal in Chidiya Ghar, a popular comedy show opposite Paresh Ganatra and later replaced by Aditi Sajwan. At present she has replaced again Shilpa Shinde as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai! opposite Rohitash Gaud on &TV and also portraying the role of Devsena opposite Nitin Sahrawat in Adhuri Kahaani Hamari (TV series) on &TV.[1]
