Sikhong Sekmai is a town and a nagar panchayat in Thoubal district in the Indian state of Manipur.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Sikhong Sekmai had a population of 6117. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Sikhong Sekmai has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 40%. In Sikhong Sekmai, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
