Singapore International School of Bangkok (SISB) is an international school in Wangthonglang, Bangkok, Thailand.[1]
SISB was founded in 2001 to serve the Bangkok community and provides a non-sectarian, Singapore-UK curriculum in English with Chinese and Thai languages. In 2010 SISB was fully accredited by the Office for National Education Standards, and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) under the Private Education Act of Thailand.
SISB is one of the few international schools in Thailand that uses the reference Chinese language, Putonghua with simplified Chinese characters in its academic programme. Putonghua has been recognized by the United Nations as the official Chinese language, and mastery of this writing system is important for students.
