Sinji Vrh (pronounced [ˈsiːnji ˈʋəɾx]; German: Schweinberg[2]) is a village in the Municipality of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.[3]

The local parish church is dedicated to John the Evangelist and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Novo Mesto. It was a relatively simple structure that was greatly rebuilt between 1822 and 1823. A second church south of the settlement is dedicated to John the Baptist.[4]
