Skawica [skaˈvit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zawoja, within Sucha County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Zawoja, 8 km (5 mi) south of Sucha Beskidzka, and 49 km (30 mi) south-west of the regional capital Kraków.
The village has a population of 2,600.
