Smolice [smɔˈlit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zator, within Oświęcim County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Zator, 17 km (11 mi) east of Oświęcim, and 34 km (21 mi) west of the regional capital Kraków.
