It includes suburbs within the local government areas of City of Sydney, City of Botany Bay and Randwick and falls approximately within the Federal Division of Kingsford Smith.[1] Politically at both state and federal levels South-Eastern Sydney (despite the areas relative affluence) is a stronghold for the Australian Labor Party.
