The Southwest Penang Island District (Malay: Daerah Barat Daya Pulau Pinang), is one of the five administrative districts in the state of Penang. It covers an area of 176 square kilometres, and had a population of 196,195 at the 2010 Census (provisional result). The district seat is located in Balik Pulau.
