Sparvöga is a 1989 single by Swedish artist Marie Fredriksson, known internationally from the duo Roxette. The single was not originally part of an album, but was written for the TV-series Sparvöga, which in turn was based on Ann-Charlotte Alverfors's book by the same name.[1] The single was released in March 1989, and the next month peaked at number six on the Swedish charts.[2] As such it was Fredriksson's highest charting single ever until the release of "Där du andas" in 2008, that reached the number one spot.[3]

The Swedish word "sparvöga" literally means "sparrow-eye", but is used figuratively to describe particularly sharp human eyes, similar to the English hawk-eye.[4]
