The St. Lucie Mets are a minor league baseball team based in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
The team, which plays in the Florida State League, is the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets major-league club.
The team plays at Tradition Field. Opened in 1988, the park seats 7,347 fans.
They have won the Florida State League Championship five times (1988, 1996, 1998, 2003, and 2006).
A number of former St. Lucie Mets player are currently on the New York Mets roster including David Wright, Jon Niese, Lucas Duda, Rubén Tejada, Dilson Herrera and 2014 NL Rookie of the Year[1][2] and two time NL Rookie of the Month[3][4] Jacob deGrom.
