Stary Łom [ˈstarɨ ˈwɔm] (German: Altenlohm) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Chojnów, within Legnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Chojnów, 28 kilometres (17 mi) north-west of Legnica, and 89 kilometres (55 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has an approximate population of 420.
