Stenløse is a town and a former municipality (Danish, kommune) in Egedal municipality in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The former Stenløse Municipality covered an area of 65 km² (25 sq mi), and had a total population of 13,384 (2005).
