Step by Step: The Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Wet Wet Wet. It was released on 25 November 2013.[1] The first three tracks — "Step by Step", "Sad Kinda Love" and "Playin' Like a Kid" — were recorded by the band especially for the album, and "Step by Step" was released as the album's lead single.
The album reached #53 in the UK album chart.[2]
The album was promoted with a 10 date tour of the UK, where the band was supported by Blue.[3]
All 10 dates on the UK tour were recorded for a series of live albums by Abbey Road Studios as part of their Live Here Now releases. The final date of the tour was also recorded for a DVD release which was sent to people who ordered the live albums.[4]
The live DVD was later released commercially on 29 September 2014, titled Greatest Hits Tour - Live in Glasgow.[5]
In early 2014 the band announced further tour dates in support of the album.[6]
