Stephanie Siriwardhana (Sinhalese: ස්ටෙෆනි සිරිවර්ධන; born 5 February 1988) is a Sri Lankan model. She was crowned Miss Sri Lanka 2011 and competed at the 2011 Miss Universe pageant.[1] In 2013, she won the Miss Asia Pacific World Sri Lanka title.[2]

Biography

Siriwardhana was born in Kuwait; her father is Sri Lankan father and her mother Lebanese. She moved to Sri Lanka at the age of 3 due to the Gulf War, and stayed until she completed her schooling. She then moved to Italy and then to Canada where she attended Concordia University in Montreal. She graduated with a degree in Journalism, Communications and Political Science there.[3][4]

Siriwardhana won the Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2011 title in July 2011[5][6] and represented the Sri Lanka at Miss Universe pageant which was held in Brazil.[7] At the Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2011 pageant she was also awarded the titles Miss Personality, Miss Compassionate and Miss Pond's Face.[6]

In 2013, she won the Miss Asia Pacific World Sri Lanka title.

She has participated in the World Economic Forum,[8] was a Senator of the 2nd Youth Parliament of Sri Lanka, and founded the Stephanie Siriwardhana Foundation, which intends to support a transitional shelter for sexually abused young girls.[9][10]

She appeared in a Kannada film Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga's item song.[11][12]
