Steubenville is an unincorporated community in Steuben Township, Steuben County, Indiana.

History

Steubenville was a choice for the county seat of steuben county in 1841. It was also a train stop for a short time before it was moved to Angola, Indiana.

Steubenville today

Today Steubenville is a very small community along the railroad that the old train station used to be on. Residents enjoy the quiet beauty left by ancestors. It has two paved roads that only horseshoe around the remaining homes and properties of which are almost solely owned by one man, Mr.Patrick Blanton. Mr. Blanton was born and raised in Steubenville and has devoted his life to purchasing as much of the properties as possible in hopes to one day return the small town back to what it once was.
